Set up the SharePoint Connection

  1. Go to the SharePoint Admin center.
  2. Create an integration using Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint REST API.
  3. Ensure compatibility with both SharePoint Online and on-premise instances.

Importing from SharePoint

Follow these steps to import data from SharePoint:

  1. Marketplace: Access the Airdrop category in the DevRev Marketplace and install the SharePoint snap-in.
  2. Configuration: In the snap-in configuration, click Install and go to the Airdrop section in your settings.
  3. Create Connection: Establish a connection with your SharePoint account.
  4. Initiate Import: Choose the SharePoint account for import, selecting relevant DevRev parts for the imported data.
  5. Mapping: DevRev automates field mapping, with provisions for manual adjustments if required.

Post import options

Upon successful import, you can:

  • Sync to DevRev: Align updates and create new items in DevRev for any new entries in SharePoint.
  • View Report: Access detailed post-import reports.
  • Delete Import: Remove the import and all items introduced from SharePoint into DevRev.
  • Edit Connection: Update the connection for ongoing integration tasks.
